Category coding for Acceptable Use Policy, Daycare, etc have been moved to Custom Forms.  This session includes how to view and edit information stored in custom forms and the difference between the forms - either school specific or district wide.

Quick Picks reports are now custom reports.  How to install viewer and run existing custom reports in the web version.  Refresher on the parameter screen so that you get the information you want on the report.

This session will take a look at some of the threats to data security that schools face on an almost daily basis and how to avoid them.

Never in our history have so many different generations shared space in our workplace facilities as today. Understanding the perspective, work habits, and communication styles of those in another age group is a common obstacle in the workplace. As with other diversity issues, such as age, gender, ethnicity, and race, examining and understanding generations has become an increasingly important part of maximizing organizational effectiveness.  Our goal is to help participants gain a better understanding of each generation so we can all work together to bridge the gap that exists between our generations.

This is a hands on session in which participants will learn how to create mailing labels, personalized certificates and form letters using Microsoft Word, Publisher, and Excel. Links to the documentation and practice files are at Moodle.

This is a hands on session in which participants will learn how to use some of the more advanced merge functions in Word.  Including the filter function to only merge selected records instead of all records,  "switches" to format data coming from an excel file (for example, currency with the $ symbol and only 2 digits and phone numbers).

Conflict is natural. It can result in new ideas and innovation or if mishandled, in poor relationships, lost productivity and poor service. This session will assist learners in better understanding what causes conflict and teach seven effective strategies, as well as a consistent feedback model, for resolving these conflicts.   Participants will receive an assessment they can take home to help them better understand their style and how their conflict style increases or decreases conflict when interacting with others.

The goal of this program is help participants recognize their role in helping to make the workplace a good, productive, successful and civil place to be.  It will also make the case for making civility a central theme in our lives and introduce the key rules for civility in our current world- which we can apply in both our personal and professional life.  Talking about this discovery is both a privilege and a responsibility.

This session is a reminder of what needs to be done in Skyward with the information in the registration packet, how to handle students who you thought were coming back, but now tell you they are moving out of district, no shows/did not appear by the 10th day or the kiddos who said they were moving, but didn't.
